Managing Partner

Mr. Bamidele Adeniyi Mafimidiwo , a highly accomplished Quantity Surveyor, earned his B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1986 and an M.Sc. in Construction Management from the University of Lagos in 1989. He is currently pursuing an M.Phil./Ph.D. at the University of Lagos

A Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (FNIQS) and a registered Quantity Surveyor by the Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN), Mr Bamidele Mafimidiwo holds memberships in several prestigious organizations, including the Nigerian Institute of Management (AMNIM), Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria (FIPAN), Society for Environmental Toxicology and Pollution Mitigation (SEPTOM), and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)

He serves as the current National Vice President of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) and is a member of the Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN). His notable career includes roles such as Director of Physical Planning at Yaba College of Technology (from 2010 to 2015) and Director of Yabatech Epe Campus (from 2015 - 2018).

As Managing Partner of BAM Associates, Mr Bamidele Mafimidiwo has overseen the firm’s operations and project execution for over three decades. The firm has completed significant projects like the refurbishment of 1004 Estate, Victoria Island, development of Northern Foreshore Estate for Exxon Mobil, and the new Multi-storey car park at Murtala Muhammed International Airport.

A prolific contributor to his field, Mr Bamidele Mafimidiwo has presented at numerous seminars and conferences and published over 12 academic articles and has over 15 conference papers. He has also contributed chapters to several books

SOLA OKANLAWON

FNIQS, RQS, HND (Quantity Surveying)

Director

Mr. Sola Dada Okanlawon is a distinguished construction industry professional with over 34 years of experience. As a registered Quantity Surveyor and Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, he has a proven track record in quantity surveying and project management.

His extensive local and international training has refined his skills in time and quality management, ensuring projects maintain their economic and aesthetic value. Known for his proactive approach, Mr. Okanlawon excels in early challenge identification and effective technical solutions, leading to timely project completions.

Mr. Okanlawon has successfully contributed to diverse projects in both the private and public sectors, showcasing his versatility and expertise. His professional journey across Nigeria and beyond has enriched his practice with diverse experiences.

Additionally, Mr. Okanlawon is a respected community leader and former chairman of his estate’s electoral committee. He is a dedicated family man, blessed with a loving spouse and children.

DR OLUFUNMILAYO MAFIMIDIWO

Director

Dr Olufunmilayo Alice Mafimidiwo is a distinguished Nigerian electrical engineer with a rich career spanning over three decades. Since beginning her engineering journey in 1989, she has made significant contributions to the electrical, power, and oil/gas sectors. Her accomplishments include pioneering and consolidating business operations for various engineering projects with Mobil Producing Nigeria Limited (now ExxonMobil) during her tenure at Cakasa.

Dr. Funmi Mafimidiwo earned her PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu- Natal, South Africa, in 2016. She is a prolific scholar with over twenty-five published journals and conference proceedings, as well as several authored books. Her research interests encompass facilities engineering management, green building technology, solar energy systems (including photovoltaic and concentrated solar energy), and power system engineering.

A registered member of numerous prestigious engineering bodies both in Nigeria and internationally—including SAIEE, COREN, NSE, NIEEE, NIFEngM, APWEN, OWSDW, INWES, and SWE—Dr. Mafimidiwo brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to BAM Associates. In her role, she oversees engineering design, quality control, and assurance, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.

Beyond her professional achievements, Funmi enjoys research collaboration, networking, reading, and travel. She is dedicated to maintaining high standards of engineering excellence and is happily married with children.

KEMI ODUJOLE

MNIQS, RQS, M.Sc, B.Sc, HND (Quantity Surveying)

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Mrs. Olukemi Elizabeth Odujole is a seasoned professional in the fields of quantity surveying, cost management, and value engineering, with over twenty-two years of industry experience. She holds a Master of Science degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Lagos, a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying from Joseph Ayo Babalola University, and a Higher National Diploma in Quantity Surveying from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos.

As a corporate member of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (MNIQS) and a Registered Quantity Surveyor with the Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN), Olukemi has demonstrated her commitment to professional excellence and continuous development. Throughout her career, she has held key roles such as Senior Quantity Surveyor, Chief Estimator, and Cost Manager.

For the past seventeen years, Olukemi has been a valuable asset to BAM Associates and its subsidiaries. She has played an integral role in numerous major projects for both the private and public sectors, showcasing her expertise in cost planning, project management, and value engineering. Her extensive practice experience has equipped her with a deep understanding of the complexities of the built environment.

In addition to her professional achievements, Olukemi has attended numerous seminars and conferences, both locally and internationally, further enhancing her knowledge and staying abreast of industry trends. Olukemi Elizabeth Odujole is happily married with children.
